Cleaning out the RSS feeds

December 4th, 2008

A few links acquired over the last week:

Scooped from Serious eats: Modular pecan pie made of 20 equilateral triangle-shaped pecan pies. Also Giant Fractal Pecan Pie.

Adventures in chocolate. Bacon chocolate??

Monforte Dairy to close. This makes me sad.

From the National Post, pairing chocolate and liquor.

Tomorrow I’m off to spend 8 days touring Peru. I will take lots of food photos, of course. I look forward to trying ceviche which I can get here and intend to, but never have. I’m getting my RSS feeds down to zero and flagging posts I want to read later another way because I won’t have internet access while I’m away (or rarely) and when I get back, important, interesting posts or not, I will be clicking “mark all as read”. I get around 300 per day. Multiply that by 8. That’s 2400. Oy.

When I get back the Canadian government could look a lot different. And they said that the U.S. got all the political drama.
