The Digestion Sessions preview: Blueberries and Gut Lining

I recently announced the Digestion Sessions beginning in a couple of weeks. Sean Croxton of Underground Wellness Radio is hosting this free online event November 9-23.

Dr. Jillian Sarno Teta, one of the Digestion Sessions presenters, created some infographics as part of a “12 days of Digestive Health” series, giving permission for reuse. I’m going to share them, a few days behind her.

Jillian says,

Blueberries are rich in anthocyanidins and proanthocyanidins. These compounds are anti-inflammatory, reducing inflammation at the gut locally and systemically all over the body (they also are decent for pesky seasonal allergies!!!) Blueberries help repair the lining of the gut as well, being rich in proline and Vitamin C, two compounds required in collagen formation.

How do you like to consume blueberries?
