Event: Pan American Food Festival

Experience the cultural diversity of the 41 countries that make up North, Central and South America and the Caribbean through national and regional cuisines, art and music at the Pan American Food Festival, September 20 -22, 2013).

The Americas contain a remarkable diversity of cultures, languages, indigenous and imported folk traditions, and of course, food. Pan American culinary flavours are subtly infused by the specific earth in which a plant grew, the particular pastures where an animal grazed, or the exact waters in which a fish swam.

Pan American Food Festival highlights include:

  • Two food demonstrations with one of the world’s leading authorities of Latin American cuisine, Chef Maricel Presilla. [read more]
