Remember when I was heavily into yoga?
(I still like yoga, it’s just not part of my regular routine.)
Food was served courtesy of Fresh, Kale Eatery, Aroma and more. Kale Eatery was serving beautiful rice paper rolls, samosa, kale (what else?) salad, tofu skewers and other yummy nibbles. Still Light Centre (maybe you saw them at Leslieville Farmer’s Market last summer) gave free 10 minute Thai yoga massages. Tours were given.
They offer hot and reduced heat classes, regular temperature classes, and there’s a gorgeous colour therapy yoga studio. There’s a tea lounge.
They offer classes for all levels of practice and various styles of practice. Styles include Restorative, Hatha, Asthtanga, Yin, Vinyasa Flow and Music Flow accompanied by drums or crystal singing bowls.
They also have an iPhone app that gives information about workshops and events, gives tips and shows schedules. You can use it to reserve spots in workshops.
I’m encouraging them to promote and/or carry Margarita Activewear yoga products from Energy Xpressions. Everyone wears Lulu because they’re ubiquitous. Dare to be different. 🙂 (Yes, it’s my sister’s company but the product really is amazing.)
I’m looking forward to trying a class, maybe one taught by David, my favourite waiter from The Drake Hotel. What a nice surprise to find him working there as an instructor!
